here are some more piccys from today. we are now completely panelled in and we removed the engine and box to rivit the floor in before replacing the engine/box again. the wing has had its first coat of paint and the graphics have arrived from the sign writers. There is still quite alot to do but we have plenty of help on hand for tomorrows final push. Amber will hopefully be providing bacon butties for all who attend. Fingers crossed for sunday

I agree entirely I will never rush any jobs because you usually end up bu**ering them up and causing yourself twice as much work!!!!

WellWell, i cant believe its not on the truck ready to rock, when i left at four thirty this afternoon, it was just trivia to get the car there tomorrow, you know, complete electrical rewire, steering, fuel tank, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc. There was only 10minutes work left. Just goes to show , that Britain is full of work shy lazy arses. When we started at eight oclock, we had 456 jobs to do. I......Me...., on my own completed 448 of them, and i brewed up at least 57 times as well. You were left with four jobs between five of you. Disgusted is the only words i can mutter........LAZY WORK SHY GOOD FOR NOTHING BUNCH OF LAYABOUTS and i did a sunday dinner for you all with nothing but a set of gas bottles and a dirty work bench. Well shame on you all.

We had a day off stock cars on Monday and today we repainted the wing due to some bad paint reactions and stuck on the numbers. Also we made the bonnet scoop to clear the cam pulley and oil breather

After spending lots of money to ensure that the Stock car was fighting fit, Dave left Andy to decide what extra goodies and trick bits he needed to ensure a trouble free days racing

Anndy spent his money wisely

hell yeah I have one on order now lol.

Anyway, today we have a fully painted and wired up stock car more or less ready to go.

However when it came to pressing the button to start it, the engine spun over for about 2 seconds and the starter motor died.

Has anyone local-ish to the preston area got a starter for sale please
