Onslow's Senior Mini Build

As you all now know I have taken the plunge and decided to race in 2010 in "OAP minis". In order to achieve this dream????? I have bought Dan Davies old Ministox which I am going to build into a Senior mini for the 2010 season. This thread will be a record with pictures - yawn....... of my ongoing progress. If any of you guys suffer with insomnia then read this thread before bedtime - it'll be the perfect cure!!!!!!! Sleep

The engine will ultimately run a 649 cam and is currently away for a 1293 rebore, cam bearings, core plugs etc. and I have spent a load of money on new shiny pistons whey hey!!!Obviously I will have to revert to a single carb but have a workshop full of the right bits. The block is a 1300GT 11 stud block with 1.401 inch inlet valves in the head so once I have calculated the correct amount of skimming for the head using the 10:1 pistons I have to give me an 11:1 compression ratio this should be a bit quick!!!!! Very Happy
